The Museum is delighted to be hosting this exclusive and extensive
exhibition of Bill Mundy’s work. Bill is, of course, well recognised as a
talented and established artist, a reputation that in itself would justify an
exhibition. It is however the fact that so much of his work is inspired by
and represents the life and personalities of Henley that makes this special
exhibition fit so well with the Museum’s themes.
Henley-on-Thames, River and Rowing, are all represented and we are
sure that this will prove a popular and memorable exhibition for a very
wide audience. We are grateful to him for undertaking so much of the
detailed planning for the exhibition and for meeting the costs of this
programme and the framing of his work.
